BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The main focus of the weather across the south is a tropical depression that has formed in the Gulf of Mexico. TD-9 could become a tropical storm later today. While it appears Florida will experience the brunt of the wind and rain from this system, the forecast trek could change over the coming days. We will closely be monitoring this system.
